Donations to the Department of Clinical Studies

Donation of Specialized Scientific Microscope. The Department of Clinical Studies received a donation of One (1) ZEISS Axiolab 5 Scientific Microscope with specific associated Zeiss Camera and a large 32 inch LED TV Screen for viewing the microscopic images. The whole unit was purchased in France and delivered to the department on November 25, 2021 by Dr. Jeanne Mwakugu, the Scientific Communications Manager from ROYAL CANIN, Nairobi. This Microscope will facilitate undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research.

Department of Clinical Studies and Royal Canin Partnership

The partnership between the Department of Clinical Studies and Royal Canin has continued to be strengthened through various activities since 2019. Recently on November 25, 2021, Royal Canin donated a state of the art and the latest Zeiss Axiolab digital microscrope with accompanying camera and a high resolution screen. On the 3rd February, 2022, the incoming Regional Manager Dr. Funke was brought to the Department for introduction by the Royal Canin Scientific Communications Manager Dr.
