CLINICAL STUDIES WELFARE GROUP
The CLINICAL STUDIES DEPARTMENT WELFARE GROUP (CSWG) was started in the year 2005 with two main objectives; to promote the welfare of the members of the group and to strengthen relationships between the members of the group.
Membership is voluntary and open to all members of the Department of Clinical Studies. The main activities have been offering loans to members as well as offering support during bereavement as well as other social activities. The loan limit has increased from Ksh 15,000/= at inception to a current Kshs. 500,000/=.
The welfare group also holds an annual end-of-year/Christmas party for its members and their families. The main aim of this is to encourage bonding and interactions between members and their families. This event has also afforded us an opportunity to hold retirement parties for our members.
