Vet Books for Africa Donates Books and Equipments to the Department of Clinical Studies

Vet Books for Africa, a body constituted by veterinary students from Pretoria University, South Africa, donated books and Microscopes including stereo microscopes (Dissecting microscopes) to the Department of Clinical Studies. This is through their partnership with the Department.

Visit by the CEO Tonix Pharmaceutical Holdings

The Department of Clinical Studies received three Veterinarians from Greece on November 14, 2022, to pay a courtesy call and discuss possible collaboration areas. These were Prof. Serafeim Papadimitriou, an Oral Maxillofacial surgeon from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki; Dr. Etstraties Tsipianitis, an orthopaedic and neurosurgeon in private practice, Athens; and Dr. Julia Chortara, an Oral Maxillofacial intern in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Donation of Donkeys for Learning

Two donkeys were donated to the Department of Clinical Studies on June 24, 2022 by the Donkey Owners Association Branch of Nkareta and Ilmotiok Wards in Narok County through facilitation by the Farming Systems of Kenya (FSK), which is a Non-Governmental Charity Organization based in Nakuru County. This culminated into the signing of a Collaborative Agreement.

UoN Foundation Officially Launched

The University of Nairobi officially launched the University of Nairobi Foundation on Thursday, 30th June 2022 at 5:30PM at the Great Court. The Foundation is part of the reform agenda the University is implementing aimed at transforming the University into a vibrant, relevant and sustainable University. This Launch marks the first step of a journey of great transformation and impact for the University.

University of Nairobi Foundation Pre-Launch

It was pomp and colour at the University of Nairobi Foundation pre-launch dinner hosted at the Great Court on Thursday 24th Junof Nairobie, 2022 evening.

The dinner was hosted ahead of the official launch of the University of Nairobi Foundation slated for 30th June, 2022. The event was aimed at raising awareness of the existence of the Foundation as well as mobilizing resources for its seed fund.

It brought together distinguished guests as well as key stakeholders to raise the seed capital for the University of Nairobi Foundation.
