Visitors from Ukraine in the Department of Clinical Studies

Olena Nedryhailo and Olga Lubimova from Ukraine visited the Department of Clinical Studies on Monday April 26, 2021 courtesy of Dr. Anderson Gitari who is a practicing veterinarian. A meeting was held between them and the Chairman of the Department, Prof. James Nguhiu-Mwangi. The aim of the visit was to explore possible areas of collaboration with Veterinary Schools in the Ukraine Universities. After the discussion a zoom meeting was organized for Tuesday April 27, 2021 at 9.00 am to deliberate further on the matter with participation of the Professor in-charge in one of the Ukrainian Veterinary Schools who joined the meeting from Ukraine. Areas of possible collaboration were proposed and the Chairman of the Department of Clinical Studies was mandated with task of initiating the process through formal writing of the request as a follow-up to the discussion. Prof. Nguhiu took them to pay a courtesy call to the Principal of the College, Prof. Rose Nyikal.
