Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Animal Health - Virtual Launch

The Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Animal Health is funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and led by Washington State University in partnership with the University of Nairobi, the International Livestock Research Institute, among other partners. The program aims to improve human nutrition, economic welfare, and resilience by removing constraints to cattle health and production in Kenya and the East Africa region.

The launch meeting highlights the innovation lab’s research, organizational capacity building, and the development of the next generation of animal health researchers in the region.

Speakers include leadership from the partner institutions, University of Nairobi VC Prof Stephen Kiama, USAID, Government of Kenya, and the research team from the Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Animal Health.
