Feed the Future Animal Health Innovation Lab
Feed the Future Animal Health Innovation Lab program was launched officially on Monday 17th May 2021. A physical event was Held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Nairobi and virtually for participants based in the USA and Kenya. The Innovation lab will be based at the Department of Clinical Studies, College of Agriculture, and Veterinary Services-University of Nairobi.
Innovations and related intellectual property –patents, copyrights, trademarks
- Research that has produced results that directly affect the communities and Kenyan population or that would help formulate policies, is published as policy briefs and shared with the relevant government ministries and departments.
- Research findings are also shared through community seminar and workshop participation as a way of extension services to communities especially the farming communities since most of the research is on production animals.
